I founded Hillspeed Group because I thought we could do a significantly better job at coaching leadership in business, based on what I knew about how we coach athletes in sport.
How I became a coach for the 2nd time in life.

The ‘Lean Canvas’ by Ash Maurya and Alex Osterwalder's ‘Business Model Canvas’ both give CEOs a frame for looking at the components of a working business model.
The ‘Entrepreneurs Operating System’ (EOS) and ‘Scaling Up’ by Verne Harnish, give CEOs a system for traditional leadership.
But something was still missing
→ evidenced by the fact Paul Graham only coined the term “Founder Mode” in September 2024, describing a new style of leadership that has separated today’s championship companies from the rest.
